Your school's description is so dry it reads like a government form someone filled in during load shedding. "Fee-paying institution with no boarding facilities." That is it. That is the whole personality. No ethos, no vision, no "we develop the whole child." Just vibes and an invoice. 914 learners and 57 educators, which gives you a 16 to 1 ratio. That is not terrible, honestly, but it does mean your teacher has seen enough of your nonsense to write a book about it and still have energy to take the rugby practice after school. Those educators are carrying, bra. 57 people wrangling nearly a thousand teenagers in a town where the main attraction is a petrochemical plant. Respect. Now the 94.9% matric pass rate is actually elite, we cannot lie. In a town where the air itself is flammable, somehow almost everyone is walking out with a certificate. That is genuinely impressive and Secunda does not get enough credit for it. The school has zero frills in its description, zero boarding, zero extra story to tell, but the results are doing the talking louder than any fancy school newsletter ever could. Overall verdict: Oosterland looks like a government office but performs like a private school, which honestly makes it more impressive than half the places with better marketing.
