You are paying Constantia money to sit in Mpumalanga and sweat through your blazer while baboons potentially eye your lunchbox from the parking lot. The IEB curriculum is nice and everything, but at that price your kid better be graduating with a pilot's licence and fluency in Mandarin. 1,295 learners and 106 teachers, so the ratio is 12.2 to 1. That is actually not bad, that is almost suspicious. Like, where did all these teachers come from and are they okay? That is a lot of educators for Nelspruit. Someone clearly got a budget memo and went a little wild at the staff hiring braai. And then the school describes itself as a "co-educational independent primary and high school" which is just a very long way of saying "we exist and we want your money." They also made sure to tell you there is no boarding. No boarding! So you are paying over a hundred grand a year and still driving your kid there yourself every morning. No drop-off and disappear. You are fully committed, every single day, in that Nelspruit heat. Overall verdict: Curro Nelspruit is what happens when a private school budget meets a Lowveld address, genuinely decent teacher ratios, just maybe not quite worth remortgaging the house for.
