That ratio is 32.4 to 1, which means your teacher is basically doing a stadium tour every lesson. Sir is not teaching, Sir is performing. By the time he gets to your row to check your work, you have already guessed the answers, changed them, guessed again, and fallen asleep. The matric pass rate sitting at 75.2% is actually not bad, genuinely, but that means roughly one in four kids did not make it through. And with 32 learners per teacher, can you really blame anyone? That classroom is not a learning environment, that is a bus to Nelspruit during peak hour. Someone is always standing, someone is always loud, and nobody knows where the teacher went. The description says the school "follows the National Senior Certificate curriculum under the CAPS framework" like that is a flex. Broe, every school in the country does that. Overall verdict: Germans Chiloane is built on grit and runs on pure survival instinct, which honestly might be the best education Mpumalanga can give you.
