But hey, at least the school has 1205 learners, which is basically a small township crammed into one campus. Getting to class must feel like trying to find a seat on a taxi to town on a Monday morning, everyone pushing, nobody knowing where they going, somebody eating a koeksister in your face. Now 58 educators for 1205 kids, that is a ratio of roughly one teacher trying to control 21 teenagers at a time. That is not a classroom, that is a hostage situation. The poor educator in the back explaining calculus while six kids in the corner are planning their Matric rage outfits and two others are asleep with their eyes open. Classic Vaal Triangle energy right there. But listen, 96.1% matric pass rate, that is genuinely not bad for a public school in Vanderbijlpark where load shedding has probably wiped out more homework than any excuse ever written on a sick note. The school is clearly doing something right even if "something" involves shouting over 1200 learners at assembly. Overall verdict: Transvalia is basically a factory town school that actually produces results, which is more than you can say for most of the factories nearby.
