About
I am a passionate, warm and reflective Foundation Phase educator who believes that every child can succeed when they feel valued, supported and appropriately challenged. My teaching approach is learner-centred, inclusive and differentiated, combining explicit instruction with practical, engaging and collaborative learning experiences. I use observation and assessment to understand individual learner needs, provide targeted support and create opportunities for extension and growth. My strengths include literacy, phonics and numeracy development, strong relationship-building, patience, classroom management and a commitment to continuous professional growth. What makes me a great teacher is my genuine care for the whole child, combined with high expectations and a willingness to adapt my teaching to help every learner develop confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.
