About
I am a qualified Mathematical liiteracy and Natural Science teacher with 6 months of experience and hold a BSc in Biology degree and a PGCE senior FET both obtained at University of KwaZulu Natal. During my time at Khandisa Primary School as an Educator assistant i encouraged inclusive teaching and learning ensuring that no learner was left out on anything. I am passionate about fostering inclusive, engaging classrooms that support all learners. My BSc in Biology from UKZN gives me university level depth in the Life & Living and Planet Earth & Beyond strands. Combined with my PGCE major in Natural Sciences, I can deliver CAPS content through safe, hands-on investigations and Technology design projects. I teach learners to question, test, and build preparing them for Grade 8 NS and Technology. My PGCE major in Maths Lit allows me to reinforce data handling, measurement, and problem-solving in both NS and Technology. I help learners see how “Matter & Materials” links to graphs in English comprehension, and how Technology design uses measurement and costing. Fluent in isiZulu HL and English, I use code-switching to ensure all learners grasp complex terms like “photosynthesis”, “circuits”, or “design brief”. No child is left behind due to language.
