About
My teaching experience spans high school and university-level Mathematics, where I have worked with learners from Grades 8–12 as well as undergraduate students. At Walter Sisulu University, I supported students in Pre-Calculus and Calculus through tutorials and academic mentoring, focusing on improving conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. In the high school environment, I have taught Mathematics across all senior grades, delivering CAPS-aligned lessons, managing classrooms effectively, and supporting learners with varying levels of ability. I have experience in setting assessments, conducting revision sessions, and preparing learners for examinations. In addition, my work as a private tutor has strengthened my ability to provide individualized support, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted intervention strategies. I am particularly skilled at breaking down complex topics such as functions, trigonometry, and calculus into manageable steps, helping learners build confidence and improve performance.
