Vredenburg High School, jy weet hoe is dit. No fees, no boarding, no problem, apparently, because with 24 teachers trying to manage 796 learners, the only thing getting lost here is your teacher's will to live. Thirty-three kids per class, that is not a classroom, that is a taxi rank with a whiteboard. Your educator is not teaching, they are just trying to remember if you exist. A 96.9% matric pass rate from a no-fee school with a teacher-to-learner ratio that would make any private school principal faint, that is genuinely impressive. Those teachers are built different. Twenty-four people carrying 796 learners on their backs like a team of oxen pulling a wagon up the West Coast. Overall verdict: The description is dryer than the Vredenburg wind and the classrooms are fuller than a long-weekend taxi, but the results speak louder than the budget, and that is actually something to brag about.
