The little ones are trading chips, the big ones are having an existential crisis about their future, and somewhere in the middle a Grade 7 is pretending to be older than they are. Combined schools have a very specific energy and that energy is "we figured it out, just not completely." Now listen, 39 educators for 747 learners. That is a 19.2 to 1 ratio, which means every teacher is basically a taxi driver, overloaded, slightly stressed, and making stops they did not plan for. One teacher, nineteen kids, all with opinions, all with problems, all needing to go somewhere different. Jy weet hoe is dit.
