The Cape Flats wind alone will blow you into the next suburb. You set off for school and end up in Mitchells Plain wondering how you got there. But listen, 1016 learners is actually impressive for a public school that is doing it without the fancy fees and the Constantia parents in their Fortuners. No school blazer that costs more than your uncle's monthly salary, no "holistic development journey" written in Comic Sans on the website. Just a thousand kids, thirty-eight legends working overtime, and the tuck shop lady who genuinely runs that place like a CEO. Real ones know. Overall verdict: Caravelle is basically a ship sailing rough seas with half the crew it needs, but somehow it is still moving, and that is actually kind of hard not to respect.
