But listen, do not sleep on this school because they are out here in the North West doing things that schools in Constantia with R50 000 fees and a heated swimming pool cannot do. One teacher. Thirty-one kids. Let that sink in. That is not a classroom, that is a hostage situation with a chalkboard. Nineteen educators for 588 learners means that teacher is marking papers, making tea, fixing the gutter, and probably driving the school bus. Meanwhile some private school in Pinelands has a "learning facilitator" whose only job is to make sure the succulents in the reception area look unbothered. Now here is where I have to stop laughing and just be honest with you. This school pays zero fees and posted a 100% matric pass rate. One hundred percent. Not 98. Not "we are proud of our 87%." A hundred. Government no-fee school, North West, ratio of nearly 31 to 1, and every single matric learner crossed that finish line. That is not a result, that is a statement. Whoever is running things at Ntlatseng needs to be called in front of Parliament to explain themselves, because clearly they missed the memo about making excuses. Overall verdict: Looks like nothing from the outside, runs like a machine on the inside, honestly puts half the fancy schools in the country to shame.
