But okay, we'll allow it, the name sounds lekker at least. 1305 learners and 70 educators, giving you that classic 18.6 to 1 ratio. So nearly nineteen kids per teacher, which means your educator is basically a taxi driver, legally over capacity, sweating, and hoping nobody asks a question before the next stop. At least the taxi rank in Rustenburg is honest about the chaos. Here they call it "akademie" and give it a fancy bilingual name like that makes the overcrowding feel more cultured. Now here is the part where we have to give credit where it is due, because 95.6% matric pass rate from a public school in Rustenburg is actually not a joke, that is genuinely impressive. Those learners and teachers put in real work. The North West does not always get the recognition it deserves and Bergsig is out here quietly cooking while everyone is obsessing over schools in the Western Cape. Overall verdict: It sounds like a timeshare resort but runs like a proper school, full classrooms, big pass rate, and enough pride to slap "Akademie" on the name even though the mountain view is debatable.
