Now listen, it is a no-fee school which is actually respect, genuinely. But broe, 258 kids and only 7 teachers? That ratio is 36.9 to 1. One teacher. Almost 37 children. That is not a classroom, that is a taxi rank with a whiteboard. The teacher is not teaching, the teacher is surviving. Every single day that poor educator walks in and does a headcount like a security guard at a festival gate, just hoping nobody jumped the fence overnight. And "Combined School" means it runs primary phases all in one place, which sounds cosy until you realise those 7 teachers are covering everything from Grade R kids eating glue to Grade 7s asking about puberty. Same staff. Same week. Possibly same classroom. That teacher has seen things. Overall verdict: Kleinfontein Combined School is doing the absolute most with the absolute least, which in South Africa is honestly a superpower, and those 7 teachers deserve a government pension, a Nandos voucher, and a very long nap.
