Eagle Christian College (Brits)

Okay so Eagle Christian College in Brits. BRITS. Not Pretoria, not Joburg, not even Hartbeespoort where at least you can pretend you are living your best life. Brits. The town that even Google Maps seems confused about. But fine, they planted a school there, they gave it a big name like "Eagle Christian College" because apparently if you name your school after a bird of prey and add Jesus, parents will pay the fees without asking questions. Now listen, 320 learners and only 17 teachers. That is an 18.8 to 1 ratio, which means your teacher is basically running a taxi with extra homework. Baba is full, find a seat, open your Bible, we are moving. One teacher, nearly 19 kids, and they still managed a 98.2% matric pass rate which honestly is impressive and also a little suspicious. In Brits. With load shedding. With 17 teachers carrying the whole operation like a small spaza shop that somehow beats Pick n Pay on price. But that pass rate though, 98.2%, we have to give credit where it is due. Either the Holy Spirit was doing extra lessons or those 17 teachers are genuinely working miracles out there in North West. Either way, someone is doing something right between the prayers and the pastries at the tuck shop. Overall verdict: Eagle Christian College is basically a small church that accidentally became one of the best matric factories in the North West, and honestly, God and those 17 overworked teachers deserve a bonus.
