Bro, that one teacher is not just teaching, he is a teacher, a counsellor, a tuck shop supervisor, a load shedding schedule manager, and probably also coaching soccer on Saturdays because there is no one else. That ratio is wild but somehow the results are not. The government gave them almost nothing and they turned it into almost everything. Trichardtsdal does not get a lot of shine but Kgwana is out here quietly embarrassing half the country. 98.7% pass rate at a no-fee public school in Limpopo. That is not a statistic, that is a whole statement. Someone in that community decided that money was not going to be the excuse, and they meant it. The 0.3% who did not pass are probably just legends who peaked in Grade 11 and needed one more year to gather themselves.
