Good Shepherd (Marblehall)

Okay so Good Shepherd in Marble Hall, Limpopo. MARBLE HALL. Not even the full marble, just the hall. Like they started building something fancy and ran out of budget halfway through and said "hall is fine, hall is enough." Now listen, 29 teachers for 873 kids. That is a 30 to 1 ratio. One teacher, thirty teenagers, somewhere in Limpopo. That poor educator is not teaching, that is crowd control. That is one shepherd trying to manage an entire flock by themselves, which is ironic because the school is literally called Good Shepherd. Bra, the shepherd is overwhelmed. The shepherd needs backup. The shepherd is on their third Panado of the day and it is only second period. But here is the thing that gets me. 97.5% matric pass rate. In Marble Hall. With thirty kids per teacher. No boarding facilities, so these learners are travelling from wherever to get there and STILL nearly everyone passes. The description is so dry it reads like a WCED circular, "fee-paying institution, does not offer boarding facilities," but the results are doing all the talking. You cannot argue with 97.5%. That is not a school, that is a cheat code. Overall verdict: Good Shepherd looks like it was named during load shedding when someone could not think straight, runs on vibes and overcrowded classrooms, but somehow produces results that would make a Constantia private school blush.
