The child is FIVE. They are eating paste and crying because someone looked at them funny. That is it. That is the whole curriculum. And then they say they "encourage independent thought." Independent thought costs R175,500 in Grade 7, my friend. That thought is not independent. That thought has a bond repayment schedule. Your parents did not send you to think freely, they sent you to think freely within the confines of Benmore Gardens, Sandton, where the only real danger is choosing the wrong sushi place for lunch. "We simply want to create magic each day." Simply. SIMPLY. Nothing about this school is simple. The fees alone require a financial advisor, a prayer, and probably a second job. The audacity to use the word "simply" when Grade 12 costs more than most people's annual salary in this country. Overall verdict: Crawford Sandton will absolutely make your kid feel like a masterpiece, as long as your bank account does not first become a tragedy.
