And there is no boarding, so after school everyone goes home to Randvaal, which, with respect, is its own kind of character-building experience. The school calls itself a "college" which is doing a lot of heavy lifting for an institution that is technically a combined primary and high school in a town that sounds like a Boer War battlefield. The description is so dry it reads like it was written by someone who had to submit it before load shedding kicked in and just copied the SASA registration form. Overall verdict: Probably the most committed school in Randvaal, which is genuinely something, but calling yourself a "College" when you are 367 kids and 16 teachers on a rock in Gauteng is the bravest marketing decision since Escom called themselves reliable.
