Maybe the next term. Maybe you have already graduated. The no-fee thing is genuinely a blessing, no jokes there, government covered the bill. But with a 73% matric pass rate, roughly a quarter of that 1722 are not making it through. That is almost 430 people, which is basically its own school, just chilling on the wrong side of the results board. Katlehong does not play soft and neither does that pass rate. Look, fifty two teachers holding down a school of nearly two thousand teenagers in Gauteng heat with no fees and no complaints is actually a kind of miracle that deserves its own Netflix documentary. Those educators are not teachers, they are crowd control specialists with a whiteboard marker and a prayer. Overall verdict: Winile is basically a township Marvel movie, understaffed, underfunded, and somehow still saving most of the kids, which honestly makes it more impressive than half the fancy private schools charging R50k a year to do less.
