A school so committed to telling you absolutely nothing about itself that their own description reads like a Wikipedia article written by someone who had to submit it in ten minutes. No motto, no vision, no "we build leaders of tomorrow," nothing. Just "we exist, we have teachers, goodbye." Honestly respect the honesty but also, bru, at least try. Thirteen hundred learners and eighty teachers, which means your educator is basically managing a small township at any given moment. That is a 16.4 to 1 ratio, which sounds fine until you remember that means your hand can be up for forty minutes while sir is still trying to remember your name. And you are paying R38,950 a year for grade twelve for this experience. In Edenvale. Not Sandton, not Rondebosch, Edenvale. You could drive past three different Shoprite Checkers on the way to school and still arrive owing almost forty grand for the year. But look, at least the school is co-ed, the fees are not completely unhinged by Gauteng private school standards, and with 1,314 kids you have got enough people to make matric dance actually fun. Edenvale is not the flashiest address on the map but people from there have a certain no-nonsense energy and honestly that tracks. Overall verdict: A school that describes itself like a home affairs form but probably produces the kind of kids who actually show up on time and get things done, which is more than you can say for a lot of prettier institutions.
